As the sun sets on yet another week, I find myself sitting for a moment, which, in contrast to the rest of the week, is a well welcomed respite. I have a cold beer in my hand, I can hear the birds scrambling in the distance, and I’m tired to my core. Is the persistent push worth it? Are the early starts and late finishes worth it? Is the brimming schedule that’s fueled by drive and grit worth it?  Couldn’t things be easier, less demanding and more comfortable, couldn’t we just focus on what to have for dinner, hours before it’s dinner? Yeah, we could, but we’re not going to the moon because it’s easy, we’re going because it’s hard. 🌑Enjoy your weekend, take some deep breaths, and remember to love yourself. 🙂
